Facilities Laborer (Full-Time)

Under general supervision and direction of the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Laborer is responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness and beautification of Redbud District and other areas to provide a positive experience for citizens and visitors. Perform duties to maintain the City’s vegetation within the Redbud District, facilitate the preparation and use of the Redbud Festival Park, and perform routine inspections of restroom cleanliness of the City’s parks.
$13.78 per hour

Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., 40 hours per week

Working Environment and Physical Requirements:
Work will be performed mostly outdoors in all types of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, hot and cold, and wet and/or humid conditions. The work environment may include exposure to drafts, noise, dust, grease, and traffic.
Tasks require ability to lift/push/pull/ and/or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and occasionally more than 50 pounds with mechanical or manual assistance, and typically involve some combination of walking, sitting, or standing for extended periods of time, walking, balancing, climbing, bending, crawling, crouching, feeling, handling, hearing, kneeling, reaching, repetitive motion, and mental and visual acuity.
